In the back of the project, I have for the upcoming August 2013 the issue of popular woodworking magazine is a small door. Hanging doors at the piston hinge is no big deal, when you done a couple of times, but was interesting this door. The picture above makes it typical appearance, but the piece Walnut shown is only 1/4 thick.
A better idea of what I was to do back get moved with the camera. Lee Valley had the hinges and screws. This, in fact, not even the smallest available. Work of this magnitude is usually identical to the work on furniture or cabinets, but some tasks require different tools, or using standard tools in a different way. The pilot hole for the screw #1 was a twist 1/32-bit, and the screwdriver is made of an eyeglass repair kit.
As I marked from the inlet for the hinges, I realized that the knife marks were so deep at the ends, as it had to be. Then I started the pages with my meter (a mini-Tite-mark), mark, I realized that I could easily remove the material with the measuring instrument. He spans the inlet and works really well as a small router. This trick works also to the last piece of trash away from the corner of a cone to get.
