Materiality of Panoramica collection is marked by its elegant and serious common records of daily recognition. The collective avoided flashy and artificial finishes veneer to focus on four primary materials - basalt, glass, metal and terrazzo. These humble elements resonate with culture and tradition (basalt is used to create molcajetes - traditional Mexican mortar and pestle), however the collective life of the new breathed in them with a set of designs fresh and unexpected.

A beautiful tray of folded copper made from a single sheet of metal is inspired by origami and form of Mexican wind toys. A simple four pegs and a hemisphere of basalt from stool looks quite modern with reference to the curve and the materiality of the molcajetes. Collective terrazzo planter and feeder revitalize a material commonly used for backyard laundry units. Each model has a unique history that does justice to the nature of the materials used and the cultural context that shaped their.
